This improves food safety through ensuring a clean and wholesome supply of meat, milk and eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Activities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Inspectors and investigators located throughout the state conducting routine sampling and inspections, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) for Animal Food inspections of feed manufacturing facilities, and responding to consumer complaints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Providing assurance that feed products received by California consumers are the quality and quantity purported by the manufacturer and all feed safety requirements are met<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><em>Up Next: CDFA\u2019s Livestock Drug Program ensures the proper use of animal medicine<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>California is committed to keeping our food safe.
