Clinical signs in birds include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>sneezing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>coughing\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>nasal discharge\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>green watery diarrhea\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>depression\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>neck twisting\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>circling\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>muscle tremors\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>paralysis<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>decreased egg production\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>swelling around eyes and neck\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>sudden death<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Important Message to Bird Owners in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you own backyard birds, it is imperative\u00a0that you restrict movement of your flock. Do not bring in any new birds or move out any existing birds. It is essential that good biosecurity\u00a0measures are set in place for those who own backyard birds.
