California State Veterinarian Dr. Annette Jones was honored with the US Poultry and Egg Association’s Lamplighter Award yesterday at the International Poultry Production and Processing Expo in Atlanta. The award is given to individuals for \u201csustained and exemplary service.\u201d Dr. Jones’ leadership in responding to poultry diseases like virulent Newcastle disease and avian influenza was noted.
