California Small Farm Conference<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CDFA is pleased to be part of this year\u2019s 32nd<\/sup> annual California Small Farm Conference<\/a> that runs from Thursday, February 27 through Saturday, February 29<\/strong> at Cuesta College North County Campus, 2800 Buena Vista Dr, Paso Robles, CA, located in San Luis Obispo County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s conference theme is \u201cStrength Through Diversity\u201d, honoring the resilience of diversity in agricultural systems. The conference attracts family farmers, ranchers, farmers market managers and advocates for local food from across the state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The keynote presentation on Friday will feature CDFA\u2019s Farmer Equity Advisor<\/a> Thea Rittenhouse. CDFA staff will be available at exhibition booths \u2013 look for information about CDFA\u2019s Office of Environmental Farming and Innovation<\/a>, the Certified Farmers\u2019 Market Program<\/a>, the California State Organic Program<\/a>, the Produce Safety Program<\/a>, the Fertilizer Research and Education Program (FREP)<\/a>, the Plant Health and Pest Prevention Services Division<\/a>, and the Senior Farmers\u2019 Market Nutrition Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black Farmer Conference with Urban Farmers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CDFA\nis also pleased to be part of the one-day statewide Black Farmer and Urban Farmer Conference<\/a> that will take place\non Saturday, February 29 from 7:30 am \u2013\n3:00 pm<\/strong> at the West Fresno Family Resource Center, housed in the Maxie Parks\nCommunity Center, 1802 E. California, Fresno, CA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
