{"id":21200,"date":"2020-05-04T08:19:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-04T15:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/plantingseedsblog.cdfa.ca.gov\/wordpress\/?p=21200"},"modified":"2020-05-04T08:28:28","modified_gmt":"2020-05-04T15:28:28","slug":"covid-19-meat-and-poultry-guidance-on-cdfa-web-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plantingseedsblog.cdfa.ca.gov\/wordpress\/index.php\/2020\/05\/04\/covid-19-meat-and-poultry-guidance-on-cdfa-web-site\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 meat and poultry guidance on CDFA web site"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CDFA has recently added three guidance documents pertaining to meat and poultry guidance to its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/coronavirus\/\">COVID-19 web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued interim&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/community\/organizations\/meat-poultry-processing-workers-employers.html\">Guidance for Meat and Poultry Processing Facilities<\/a>.  These measures are primarily for large plants regulated by the USDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CDFA has issued two additional guidance documents for small establishments it regulates.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/coronavirus\/pdfs\/COVID-19Guidance-LivestockPoultrySlaughterEstablishmentsRegulatedCDFA.pdf\"> The first, for livestock and poultry,<\/a> is for custom and\/or mobile slaughter operations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/coronavirus\/pdfs\/COVID-19GuidanceSmallRetailProcessorsRegulatedCDFA.pdf\">The second, for retail processors<\/a>, is for small businesses not regulated by the USDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CDFA offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/coronavirus\/\">a variety of COVID-19 resources<\/a> on its web page.      <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CDFA has recently added three guidance documents pertaining to meat and poultry guidance to its COVID-19 web page.
