This represents a slight increase over reported cash receipts for 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>California&#8217;s agricultural abundance includes more than 400 commodities. Over a third of the country&#8217;s vegetables and two-thirds of the country&#8217;s fruits and nuts are grown in California. California is the leading US state for cash farm receipts, accounting for over 13 percent of the nation&#8217;s total agricultural value. The top producing commodities for 2019 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dairy Products, Milk \u2014 $7.34 billion<\/li><li>Almonds \u2014 $6.09 billion<\/li><li>Grapes \u2014 $5.41 billion<\/li><li>Cattle and Calves \u2014 $3.06 billion<\/li><li>Strawberries \u2014 $2.22 billion<\/li><li>Pistachios \u2014 $1.94 billion<\/li><li>Lettuce \u2014 $1.82 billion<\/li><li>Walnuts \u2014 $1.29 billion<\/li><li>Floriculture \u2014 $1.22 billion<\/li><li>Tomatoes \u2014 $1.17 billion<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: The full report for the 2019 crop year, including agricultural exports, will be released in late 2020.
