Since March 22, the state has delivered 228,000 acre-feet of water to local water agencies for groundwater recharge, with 37,000 acre-feet planned for next week.<br>\u00a0<br>Statewide, reservoir storage is at 105\u00a0percent of average for this date.<br>\u00a0<br>Here\u2019s what the Newsom Administration, in partnership with the Legislature, has also done:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>TULARE LAKE BASIN FLOOD RESPONSE:<\/strong> Governor Newsom signed an <a href=\"https:\/\/gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmclist.us7.list-manage.com%2Ftrack%2Fclick%3Fu%3Dafffa58af0d1d42fee9a20e55%26id%3D18dc24d831%26e%3De5818ec3c0&amp;data=05%7C01%7Csteve.lyle%40cdfa.ca.gov%7C748c5135053c453da01108db41d1e5dc%7Cafdfd251a22248978cbaae68cabfffbc%7C0%7C0%7C638176142452603558%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=gHSswVB1bNTmafhzPkDvHSKPXGL67sqmoK97VEo5K0c%3D&amp;reserved=0\">executive order<\/a> to expedite levee repairs, floodwater diversion, and other emergency response activities in the Tulare Lake Basin. State agencies and departments are on the ground to support impacted communities, assist local agencies managing the flood response and provide runoff modeling and forecasts to assist flood planning efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EXPANDING SUPPLY &amp; STORAGE BY 1.1 MILLION ACRE-FEET:<\/strong> California has bolstered supply and storage through groundwater recharge and other projects, including a combined 1.1 million acre-feet of water \u2013 enough for 2.2 million households\u2019 yearly usage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EXECUTIVE ORDERS TO CAPTURE &amp; STORE MORE WATER:<\/strong> During recent storms, Governor Newsom signed <a groundwater recharge by at least 500,000 acre-feet in potential capacity \u2013 streamlining permits and $1 billion for groundwater recharge projects for 88,000 more acre-feet per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MAXIMIZING STORMWATER CAPTURE:<\/strong> $176 million for 67 stormwater projects and streamlining permitting to take advantage of major storm events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EXPANDING STORAGE ABOVE &amp; BELOW GROUND:<\/strong> California is supporting seven locally-driven water storage projects that would expand the state\u2019s capacity by 2.77 million acre-feet \u2013 about three times as much water as Folsom Lake can hold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ADVANCING CLEAR, AMBITIOUS TARGETS:<\/strong> <a
