CDFA is joining in the celebration of National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week<\/a>, from February 15-22. During the weeklong celebration, FFA students across California<\/a> and the nation will host various events, including farmer and teacher appreciation breakfasts, community service projects, and skills contests, all aimed at advancing agricultural literacy in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of National FFA Week<\/a>, Reps. Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.)<\/a> and Tracey Mann (R-Kan.), co-chairs of the Congressional FFA Caucus<\/a>, joined with Reps. Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-Pa.) and Suzanne Bonamici (D-Ore.), co-chairs of the Congressional Career and Technical Education (CTE) Caucus<\/a>, to lead a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives officially designating Feb. 15-22 as National FFA Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rep. Panetta\u2019s leadership highlights his ongoing support for agriculture and education in California\u2019s 19th District and beyond. As co-chair of the FFA Congressional Caucus, he remains committed to fostering opportunities for young agricultural leaders and strengthening the future of the agricultural industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
