Together, they visited various sites including distribution centers, terminal mar\u00adkets and grocery stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">These ride-along events provide a great opportunity for CAC chemists to connect field sampling to the analysis performed in the laborato\u00adry and further strengthen the collaborative relation\u00adship between CAC and DPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cMy ride-along experience was a perfect comple\u00adment to the laboratory training that I\u2019ve received since starting at CAC,\u201d said new Environmental Scientist Sam Hartanto. \u201cI walked away with a new understanding of how samples arrive at the lab and a strong appreciation for the work that the DPR samplers do.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CDFA Center for Analytical Chemistry (CAC) Food Safety Laboratories\u00a0provide analytical services to the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) through analyzing various samples DPR staff take from the field.
