This California Invasive Species Action Week 2026<\/a>, California residents are being urged to act against invasive pests that threaten our state\u2019s natural resources. From the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP)<\/a> to invasive fruit fly species<\/a>, there are several invasive pests that could devastate California\u2019s citrus<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One simple way residents can act is by staying informed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

✅ Stay up to date on potential plant or pest quarantines in your area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

✅ Don\u2019t move plant material between, into or out of quarantine areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

✅ Inspect your backyard trees for signs or symptoms of pests and diseases and report them to the CDFA Pest Hotline<\/a> at 1-800-491-1899.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, we can slow the spread of invasive pests in California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
