It doesn’t take much to understand why California is so worried about drought.\u00a0Reservoirs are ever-dwindling<\/a>. Rainfall is sporadic at best.<\/p>\n

More than 80% of California is in extreme drought, according to the\u00a0U.S. Drought Monitor<\/a>, and the state’s condition isn’t expected to improve in the near future.<\/p>\n

The Drought Monitor, which collects data from\u00a050 different weather indicators<\/a>, have shown an increasingly red California since 2011, the last time the drought map was clear.<\/p>\n
